not since July…

Ok, so how bad am I…yes, I’m writing this blog for the boys…just shows you how much extra time I have on my hands these days!  So lets go for an overall update:

Nathan:  Lots of changes for this little man!  We have gone from no teeth to a mouthful, laying, sitting and now crawling and being just a simple baby to a little man with tons of personality!  He loves to do anything Nick is doing, and has no interest in baby toys but would rather chew on Nicks cars.  He tears around the house as fast as can be, and if you want to clock him, just turn the water on in the bathroom and tell him its time for a tubby!  We haven’t given him his acid reflux medicine in about 4 days now, so I think we are past needing that (yeah!!).  He is a very determined little man with a lot of attitude as well…what I thought I could avoid in having a little girl (that being my personality) has now appeared in my youngest son…ah, my little tater!

Nicholas:  Nick has come a long way…now being potty trained (although we are not completely trained on the #2).  He always has tons to say is ready to tell you a story.  He also has such a good memory and sense of direction!  He loves going to Awannas every Wednesday and playing with his friends Silas and Wyatt and daycare every day!

Brian:  Just wrapped up the bow season and didn’t shoot that big buck he was hopeing…I guess there is always the end of December!   Brian is doing well at work and will be starting to travel more in the next  coming year.

Michelle:  I am still a temp at HNI (yes, I interviewed over a month and a half ago, and was told when I started the position that it would be until the end of October – hah!).  I am very busy and unfortunately don’t have a lot of time to do the things I love…scrapbook or read.

We all had a wonderful time in WI Dells for three days (our boys LOVE swimming!).  Nick loved going down the water-slides and Nate loves splashing and dunking his face in the water.  We also had our first Thanksgiving as a family of four and loved it!  Our turkey was done by 10:30, we were eating all of our delicious food by 11 and had the kitchen cleaned and everything cleared by 11:30.  Kids in bed and pumpkin pie on the couch by noon…what could be better!
